Are you stuck? Not sure which way to go?
Overwhelmed? Unfulfilled?
You are not alone.
Our modern lives are filled with distractions and demands that pull at us like a thousand hands, fracturing our ideals and disconnecting us from ourselves and each other.
From the roots of humanity, the act of pilgrimage has been a way to quiet the noise of the everyday and rekindle the sacred spark that exists within each of us.
Walking as a simple pilgrim allows space for connection to the essential questions and deepest aspirations of our lives. Like hearing an internal tuning fork – when we listen with an open heart, the wisdom of nature and rhythm of our footsteps will be our greatest teachers.
The pilgrim’s path is not for everyone. But for those of us that seek to wander out and journey within, it can be transformative. The next group pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago in Spain will take place in September 2012. Please contact us for more information.
What is The Cairn?
The Cairn provides a journey for self-knowledge and self-renewal in three stages:
1. Preparation - technical, logistical and spiritual preparation for going on pilgrimage
2. Pilgrimage - self-reflective walk of 220 km over 13 days on the Camino de Santiago in Spain
3. Program - coaching program to assist in the identification and implementation of your vision for self-renewal
Who is The Cairn?
My name is Jason Meyers and it will be my honour to be your guide and coach on this adventure. I do my best to follow the pilgrim values of love, service and generosity not just on the trail, but in every aspect of my life. I firmly believe that walking can (and should!) have a role in making our lives more peaceful and creative.
